Club Features
LIBRARY: Members have access to one of the finest selections of books in Western Canada, as well as a number of good videos. These cover all aspects of flyfishing and fly tying.
NEWSLETTER: The "Loose Lines" is a bi-monthly newsletter downloaded off the net using Adobe Acrobat Reader for easy printing (also avalible in hard copy for members without internet); with information and tips on fly tying, flyfishing, and other items of interest. Members are encouraged to submit articals.
STORES: A selection of apparel (hats, shirts, jackets, ect.) with the Club logo are sold through the club store.
50/50 DRAW: Tickets are sold at each meeting, with the winner receiving half of the funds.
FLY TYING CLASSES: Classes are held during regular meetings and usually start in October. The instructors include some of the Club's most proficient and experienced fly tiers. There are beginner classes, and for the more experienced tier; Demonstration of popular or new patterns as well as more complicated tying techniques.

FLY TYING DEMOS: Fly tying demonstrations for Intermediate tiers are periodically organized covering a range topics and techniques. See "Program and Special Events" for additional details.
HOW TO... SESSIONS: Various "How to..." topics are planned throughout the year regarding fly tying And fly fishing. See "Program and Special Events" for additional details.
FISHOUTS: The Club organizes up to two special fishing trips each year, at locations recommended by Club members. In the Fall, we have traditionally camped and fished in the Crowsnest area. See "Program and Special Events" for additional details.
CASTING CLINIC: Each Spring the Club has a Casting Clinic (usually the last meeting before the Club breaks for Summer); both Beginner and Intermediate techniques are covered.
Regular Club Activities
Club meetings are scheduled for the SECOND and FOURTH Wednesdays of each month (excluding July & August; and December only has one get together our Christmas Social). Doors open at 7:00pm, meeting starts at 7:30pm. A short business meeting precludes other activities on each second Wednesday to keep members abreast of current events in the flyfishing world, usually followed by formal and informal fly tying. There are periodic guest speakers, demonstrations and in the spring a casting clinic for both novice and experienced casters. VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!
